This friendly, hands-on workshop is Part 1 of our Introduction to Machine Sewing classes and the perfect first step into machine sewing. Whether you’ve never used a sewing machine before or just need a confidence boost, we’ll start right from the beginning, getting you familiar with the machine and its basic functions.

In this 3-hour class, you’ll apply your new skills to make either a tote bag or envelope cushion cover using Ray Stitch fabric to take home. It’s a great introduction to essential sewing techniques and a satisfying way to begin your sewing journey.
